  The MFC Vision Statement

The Millbury Federated Church is a growing community of people who love God first and foremost, and express that love in worship; who love their neighbors as themselves; are united in ministering to each other, those around them, and the world by living out their personal relationships with Jesus Christ and through the utilization of their spiritual gifts.

The Covenant of the MFC

We covenant with the Lord and with one another, and do bind ourselves in the presence of God to walk together in His Holy ways.  We will strive to be doers of the Word and not hearers only, to be firm in faith, quickened in hope and constant in charity.  We will consecrate our time, talent, substance, and influence as heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ.

(From our By-laws)

May God Bless Your Visit.

This site is dedicated to the Glory of God by the members of the Millbury Federated Church.  We welcome life-long Christians, new believers, and those who are still searching and hope that all will find something of interest here.  We offer information about our church and its various activities, information about our Lord, and Christian humor and uplifting stories to brighten your day and strengthen your spirit.

Sunday Morning Schedule

We offer two services:

At 8:30 a.m. is "Morning Glory" worship - a contemporary service featuring a live band, drama and other new elements offering a fresh way to worship.

At 10:30 a.m. is our "Traditional" worship service - a service featuring the choir, the old favorite hymns, and the other beloved traditions of our congregation.

Childcare is offered during both services.  Sunday school for children is offered during the Traditional service.

Between the two services from 10 - 10:30 a.m. is coffee fellowship "bridge" time for those attending services.  Please join us!

Other MFC Services

The Millbury Federated Church hosts the annual Millbury Community Block Party, an afternoon of family-friendly fun on and around the common.  Featuring live music, kids' games, vendor tables, demonstrations and more, the Block Party has something for everyone, including an apple-pie baking contest.

The next block party is September 18, 2010.

The Millbury Federated Church sponsors a weekday nursery school program.  We have both 2-day and 3-day programs to help our little ones prepare for kindergarten in an atmosphere of love, acceptance and learning adventures.  For more information about our weekday nursery school program, please call the nursery school office at 508-865-3886.
Our church also provides a food pantry for those in need in Millbury and the surrounding communities.  The food pantry is open on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.  It can also be opened on an emergency basis by calling the church office at 508-865-6274.  Our food pantry is entirely supported by donations of food from our church members and from the community at large.  For the Food Pantry Needs List, click here.  Thank you for your support.
Millbury Federated Church is home to The Lord's Builders.  This is a group of people who every year use a week of vacation to travel down South to help rebuild churches that have been destroyed by arson.  Teenagers and adults, students, homemakers, business people, self-employed - The Lord's Builders have in common a desire to bring good out of evil.  Click here to learn more about The Lord's Builders.  These mission trips are paid for entirely by donations - if you would like to support The Lord's Builders with a donation, please send a check or money order made payable to The Lord's Builders, c/o Millbury Federated Church, 20 Main Street, Millbury, MA  01527.  Thank you.  The Lord's Builders 13th trip took place in February 2009.  They went to Alabama.  They have begun planning and fundraising for their 2010 trip.
Vacation Bible School 2009 is now history.  Eighty-four children joined us for a week at SonRock Kids' Camp, and we had a wonderful time.  Coming soon - pictures from this year's VBS.

Mark your calendars now to join us August 2-6, 2010, for a new VBS program.
